Carlos Cashman was co-founder and Managing Partner of OrionCKB and now serves as an advisor to the combined Orion/Elite company on strategic direction and M&A.
Carlos is also founder and Managing Director of ConstellationCK, an internet services company providing ticket marketplace sales and lead generation infrastructure to large media players. Carlos also currently oversees AMFI Trading LLC, an e-commerce investment and management firm as well as IMHO.ai, a stealth mode startup in Boston.
Over the past twenty years, Carlos has worked with numerous successful start-ups as an executive, founder, investor, and advisor in the US and abroad. Carlos is an active angel investor through several venture funds where he is a Limited Partner. These include The Entrepreneur’s Fund III and IV as an LP only, and Mentor’s Fund and Castor Ventures 1 and 2 where he additionally serves on the investment committees of both to help source and vet deals.
Carlos is also involved with several charities related to promotion of global peace and education, including Eurica Media Lab and Teach the World Foundation. He serves on the Board of Directors of a few companies including Asset Performance Technologies, an advanced data and analytics provider for heavy industrial equipment he co-founded in 2003. In 2005 he co-founded CourseAdvisor, a leading Search Engine Marketing firm in the post-secondary education industry, which was sold two years later to the Washington Post. CourseAdvisor was designated one of the fastest growing companies in New England and voted one of Boston’s Best Places to Work in 2007. The first company Carlos founded, Opus360, went public on the NASDAQ in 2000 and was sold in 2001 to Artemis International.
Carlos graduated from MIT which he attended with a full scholarship from AT&T. And yes, he did play professional blackjack on a team from MIT for a while, though not THAT team, who he knows well.
